I had a conversation today (3/13/00) with a salesman at West Hills Tractor, Inc. in Jonesborough, TN who told me of an interesting buy on a TC33D. They have a TC33D equipped with a NH loader and a NH belly mower that they are selling for $17,900. This is a tractor they "leased" to Bristol Motor Speedway for one year and just got it back. The tractor has 100 hours on it. The tractor has never been titled so the remainder of the warranty will transfer to the buyer. This tractor also qualifies for NH's low rate financing. They actually had two of these tractors but one went to a customer in Washington state on Saturday. The phone number for the dealership is (423) 753-4621 for anyone interested. One disclaimer, the salesman I talked to was not 100% sure that the loader and belly mower were New Holland brand, they may actually be Woods products.

I'm about to order a TC33D from my local NH dealer and I'm still perplexed about what sort of tires I need on it. I have about 2 acres of lawn (slightly hilly) to mow and 20 acres of horse pasture (very hilly) to bush hog. I'm leaning towards turf tires but am worried they won't provide good grip when cutting the pasture. On the other hand, if I get Ag. tires I'm worried they will tear up my lawn. Any suggestions?
